The primary use of the Bop Bag in experimental play
therapy is to break the connection between negative
feelings and agressive acting out behaviors in children.
Drawing the face, clothes, etc. helps the child feel more
in control.
Our Therapeutic Bop Bag is a 40" white vinyl inflatable
with sand-weighted base and five wet-erase markers
(red, yellow, blue, green and black) with chisel tips.
Children who are unable to express themselves can
write, print, or draw on the bop bag. Children can
then take out their frustration or anger on the bop bag.
The wet-erase feature permits removal with a sponge or
wet cloth. The bop bag is now ready for another design
or name and more anger release.
